Network Robot
A network robot system can be described as technology in which two or more robots cooperate to provide a robot-based service, grasping a user’s situation according to the information from ubiquitous sensors (cameras, tags, wearable computers, etc.).
It can bring lots of opportunities and benefits,
- Develop robots that can perform a natural style of communication with people.
- Develop robots that can support human daily activities such as guidance, housekeeping, home security, etc.

However, it faces several challenges at the same times,
- Action and situation recognition technology
To recognize people’s actions and environmental situations to best meet each user’s needs.
- Robot telecommunication technology:
To collect the actions, status information and direct them to the right robot.
- Interaction technology between robots and humans:
To talk with humans using gestures as a physical presence medium just like human do.
